Located on Main Street in the historic Exchange District, the Crocus Investment Building is testament to the potential that exists within downtown’s century-old building stock.

The building — reclaimed at a cost of $12 million — houses Manitoba Conservatory of Music, Winnipeg Contemporary Dancers and the dance company’s school, Winnipeg Folk Festival offices, businesses like McKim Cringan George advertising agency, as well as retail and restaurant operations.

CentreVenture assisted the developer of this project by helping to broker arrangements that suited both the developer and the City. As well, CentreVenture worked with arts industry tenants to ensure their dreams to operate out of the Ashdown Hardware Building would be realized.
