Red River College Downtown Campus

September 30th, 2002

This unique, $35-million construction and reclamation project incorporated the existing facades of six historic buildings into the finished product.

CentreVenture advocated for the Princess Street site as the best location for the College’s 220,000 square-foot downtown campus, recognizing the key role some 2,200 students and staff would play in the economic and social revitalization of the city centre.

CentreVenture’s efforts included building a coalition of high-profile agencies to champion the Exchange District site selection.

The downtown campus development won a number of international awards for its environmentally-conscious building design.
